so 12 years..yeah, I don't see them going linebacker. Again, Bellicheck likes experienced LBs. You asked, I told you. So don't complain.

what does that even matter? By that logic teams shouldn't draft a position that they haven't drafted in a while. Thats the exact opposite of what you should do. You should draft a position that is getting old ie. the LBs. People last year were saying the Pats dont take DBs high either and guess what they did they took Merriweather (although I think it was a mistake)
and Actually they took a LB in the 1st round in 1999 by the name of Andy Katzenmoyer

Wow, my bust. I asked my cousin who is an avid Pats fan, and he just said Thompson was the only one he can remember taking high. You make sense cooljay.

Any player they draft I think is for the future. They may just trade down too. Why not stock up on young talent they can mold into great players?

you know what I am entitled to my opinion. He disappeared in that NC Game but he did dominated Michigan but they suck so whatever. And I was talking about him gaining weight if wanted to play DE. If he wants to play LB than yeah thats a good weight for him. However I dont see the pats taking him just a gut feeling. Okay, didn't say you weren't, just that yours was misguided. So, dominating the player that's being called one of the top 3 best in the draft doesn't count for anything? If by dominating Long you mean getting one sack on him (only sack on Long the entire year), and 5-6 sacks/hurries on the RIGHT side of the line then I guess you're right.

As I said, Gholston completely destroyed Schilling and the RIGHT side of the line. He did beat Long 1 on 1 on that sack, but that was it. Gholston is still very good, and this does nothing to reflect on Gholston or Long's draft status.

Nice ownage, Chis.
And, Jay, who was complaining? I simply made a statement. I don't know what's with your attitude around the board lately, but seriously, cut that shit out.
And Bama, I think they could take a wideout, but I'm not sure who's available. I don't see them keeping Moss.

I don't see them keeping Moss. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard someone say. Even dumber than when I heard Anna Nicole Smith didn't have the clap.

Could've sworn I read something to the contrary about Gholston lining up over Long. And about Long's draft status not being affected.. how about him getting pushed back and physically owned all day frosh Cam Heyward (Although to Long's credit, he didn't give up a sack to Heyward).

If he is the best player at his position, plays for Michigan, and didn't give up a sack until he played an OSU player and gave up a sack against him, then I would call that getting owned.

He's going to want big money once he gets his Super Bowl ring and I really don't think they'll keep him long term. I'm certainly not the only person. And dude, cut the attitude, you're acting like a stupid prick.

Especially when he broke records, was a classy guy, and led the recieving corps to the playoffs.

I'm not saying the Pats are just going to say "thanks for the ring, see ya." I'm saying Its hard to say if Moss would be willing to take somewhat of a discount to stay in NE. I'm saying I'm not sure they'll have the money to re-sign him and Asante Samuel, not that I really think they'll sign either..

They are the god damn Patriots. They'll do whatever they want. And it's bullshit.

You're making them out to be the Yankees.

True.
LT Alex Boone is returning for Ohio State.
Jonathan Stewart from Oregon is going pro, as is Steve Slaton.

Guess I should change my statement to
"I dont know why everyone is so high on WVU/White/Devine."
Or maybe not everyone thinks they are a top 5 team after Slaton has left.
