Duke looked really good last night against Marquette..it was my first chance to catch a game of the Blue Devils'..Kyle Singler a freshman looked really good Yup. You are TOTALLY not a bandwagoner. well glad you realized that |

we beat K-State...big win for this team. Now we'll have another test against Villanova tommorrow but that too is a game we have a good shot at winning. K-State doesnt play like a team right now and that's to be expected because they're so young but it feels good to beat a ranked team.

fuck, Villanova is burning Mason with the 3 ball. We're contesting the shot but Nova is just hitting them.
Mason doesnt have the kind of 3 point shooters as Nova so all we can do is play defense and play at our own pace.

w00t Mason beat South Carolina and finished 3rd place in the Old Spice classic. Big wins against K-State and the Gamecocks are important considering our schedule is so light. Only if Villanova didnt hit so many threes against us.......

UNC beat us 66-55 last night. We have the talent, but we self-destructed in the second half thanks to our youth. I'm happy that Deibler found his groove though.

UNC beat us 66-55 last night. We have the talent, but we self-destructed in the second half thanks to our youth. I'm happy that Deibler found his groove though. I love watching Ohio State b-ball now....it's pretty entertaining. I knew Butler, Hunter, and Lighty were key returning players but I had no idea who Jon Diebler was until last night. The Bucks shot poorly in the second half but they kept the game close which was pretty amazing. I just think OSU fell in love with the 3 ball. |

Army beat VMI 71-69 today..Usma should be proud Didn't know it until you posted. Too busy worrying about what riots will occur at BCS HQ tomorrow. I hope the Corps of Cadets and the USMA alumni get interested in Army basketball now that the oh-so-disappointing football season is over, because Christl Arena is a complete mausoleum now, with the important exception of the Navy game. And the team is too good to simply leave in obscurity, because now the hockey team and the women's team get more attention than a very talented basketball squad. To keep this thread from going to death, 11pm tipoffs on FSN are Godlike. I'm paying much more attention to west coast ball because of it. |

It isn't new and improved when it's Tommy Amaker beating his own shitty ass players. This season was already doomed to the dumps when we hired Beilein and so I wasn't really caring if we sucked it up. I'm waiting for next year or the next couple of years when we can get some Beilein recruits in here. |

so....... i watched 7 hours of basketball yesterday live in person. I went to the BB&T classic up in DC with my VCU friend and for 15 bucks we saw: George Washington lose to Auburn, George Mason get upset by East Carolina, and VCU beating the Terps.
Had a fun time but am wayyy to tired to be going to classes today. It was funny to see all the Terps fans get stunned after their loss because Eric Maynor was so clutch in the second half lol. He dropped like 18 points after scoring just two in the first.
