Also, Memphis won by 1 POINT against UAB. I think they're in trouble when they play the Vols next Saturday. Besides, I'd hate to see Duke as the number 1 team

Michigan State sucks. Has to be the most disappointing team in Izzo's tenure. I think they are way too soft, commit way too many turnovers and no one shows up at the same time. It's one person doing all the work every night.
This team isn't good. I'm embarrassed.

Neitzel needs to get his shit together, that's for sure, but they've shown this year even that they're a better team than the one that's showing up lately. Obviously they NEED to get it together, but I think it's possible.

On another note, Michigan has won three straight including coming from 13 back to beat Iowa, and beating Ohio State today by 10 after being tied at the half. I think we could be looking at up to four more in the regular seasons....
@ Minnesota - W vs. Illinois - L vs. Illinois - W/L vs. Northwestern - W @ Penn State - W vs. Purdue - W/L vs. Purdue - L

Oh, come on. I think they still have time to get it together. Neitzel needs to get his shit together, that's for sure, but they've shown this year even that they're a better team than the one that's showing up lately. Neitzel's been the most consistent in conference play. Reasons we aren't good- Turnovers- When you have as many TO's as FG's, it's not good.
- Big Men- They fail to show up. Suton has one good game in every 4. Gray is a liability. Naymick just has defense.
- Defending the 3- We put no one outside the three point line on defense. I'm sick of teams draining threes against us. (PSU, Purdue).
- Urgency- This team doesn't have it. I've yet to see it. Morgan is a fantastic player, but when something doesn't go his way, he pouts. Lucas is frustrated with his teammates, which is why he has to do things himself. Walton, he doesn't have offense, at all. He turns the ball over too much.
- Big Ten refs- Are officials to blame for our losses? No. But when PSU shoots 50 FT's to MSU's 20, it kinda hurts. MSU gets screwed a lot, and so do a lot of other Big Ten teams. Sportsbuck has also shared this opinion. Still, it doesn't change the fact we turn it over.
Am I totally abandoning this team? No. But they need to get shit together right now. They need to wake up because instead of winning the Big Ten like they were supposed to, they will be fighting for 3rd. I hope March brings a different story.

But I wouldn't say they suck/aren't good. They're a good team playing bad basketball right now.

All valid points. But I wouldn't say they suck/aren't good. They're a good team playing bad basketball right now. Well turnovers and not defending the 3 have been happening for years. But the urgency needs to be there. It was there against Purdue, but not in time. We need to get it together now because the rest of our schedule is brutal.

anyone watchin Tennessee vs Memphis....this game is INTENSE! Its wayyyyy too fast paced, too many 3s, no defense.......but I am enjoying this game. I expect the second half to be like the 1st because both teams LOVE to play at a fast pace. Great game so far.

well good win for the Vols.....but Memphis didnt lose much besides bragging rights. They're still a number 1 seed heading into March. It'll be interesting to see if the Vols can secure a number 1 seed as well. But what a game....one of the best I seen this season. Not to mention one of the most ugliest games I've seen this season.

The Tigers are not a good shooting team, and the Vols are turnover machine.
I doubt either make the final four. Elite Eight might even be pushing it.
