The Scout sportswriter who wrote this up is clearly completely ignorant to the entire NFL. Giants have a whole shitload more problems than replacing Tiki, Jacobs will solve that. Whoever the new GM is better make a real smart choice, second best to firing Coughlin, and work on either our secondary or our offensive line. Why do the Rams have the 7th pick? They aren't that bad. In fact they can make the playoffs! Didn't see that but this just proves my point of how ignorant he is to the NFL.

This is pretty bad.... Oakland wont take another Offensive Lineman, because Davis is stubborn. Though the buccaneers are dumb enough, Lamar Woodley is not a Top 5 pick. Cleveland will never pick two first round Wide Receivers without a QB or line. I dont see Carolina taking Jamarcus Russell or Troy Smith. If they pick anyone, it will be Drew Stanton. Dwayne Jarrett will go higher, Jeff Smardisja is a 3rd rounder. Dewayne Bowe is a 2nd rounder at best. Victory Abriami will go in thw 2nd. Bronocs wont take Glenn Dorsey at DT if they can convert Cleveland Browns lineman. Rufus Alexander is another Lance Mitchell. Ryan Harris is a horrible Left Tackle who gets callled for several penalties a game. Last but not least, unless he shows something in the championship game, Marcus Thomas is not a 1st round Defensive Tackle.
I'm wondering where obviously Drew Stanton(MICHST-QB), Michael Johnson(ARI-FS), Leron Landry(LSU-FS), Alan Branch(MICH-DE), Sam Baker(USC-OL), Jake Long(MICH-OL), Daymeion Hughes(CAL-CB), and possibly Brian Brohm(LOU-QB) are.
A little early, but Scout hasn't done a good job.... scouting... I suppose.

Most of these guys have yet to declare. Jake Long said he is staying at Michigan for his senior year, but Branch is leaving. Baker, Landry, Brohm and Hughes should all declare but haven't officially yet. And as for Stanton, he is not a 1st round pick as it stands right now...

Marcus Thomas isnt even on the team anymore, he got kicked off about 2 months ago. So I find that funny he'll go 1st round. Ravens drafting a RB??!! We have Jamal Lewis, Mike Anderson, Musa Smith, P.J. Daniels, and Cory Ross. How many do we need?

I dont see the Vikings taking Jake Long, they just got Hutchinson from Seattle and to get another OLman when there are other holes is terrible....

I don't see anyone taking Jake Long, considering he's staying in school.

He still said he was coming back, he told everyone after the game he was still coming back

For every Vince Young, there's about 10 other college players who stuck to their word.
Jake Long is NOT Vince Young.
Oh, and just to prove ASM wrong, I went back to prove that VY did NOT say he was coming back after the game. This CBS Sportsline article says so:

All I know is me and my parents need to sit down and make the best decision
Where does he say he is going for the draft? Just because some AP article or whatever talks like he is doesnt mean he is. He was still contemplating coming back....

Well, the Ravens defenitely dont need any defensive lineman Maize. Pryce, Ngata, Gregg have all been great. Then, we got guys like Aubrayo Franklin, Jarrett Johnson, and Dwan Edwards to bring in depth. I dont see us getting a runningback in the first round with Jamal, Mike, and Musa. We already have two runningbacks that dont get any playing time.
My guess is we go O-Line. Ogden, Mulitalo, and Flynn are all getting older. Mulitalo has been injury prone the past 3 years, and even though we got guys like Adam Terry, Chris Chester, and Jason Brown it wouldnt hurt to add a first round talent to the mix.
I mean we've been great at pass protection, but im talking more like a guy that can give us a good push to run the ball. A cornerback wouldnt be bad neither, im tired of watching Samari Rolle get beat...

I think Woodley will end up going to a team that runs a 3-4 defense. He'd be perfect for a hybrid DE/OLB type of player, like Bobby Carpenter was considered last year.
