No DREW STANTON!! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!
Not because he's from Michigan, I just don't see Woodley going that high. He could though, he's a great player..
Smardkjlkdjlkjfzia won't go that high.

I think it's crap. It's the first one for a reason. I don't see half of these picks going through.
I don't see the New York Giants taking Marshawn Lynch. I think that Brandon Jacobs is going to be a great back, he just needs some experience.
The Texans don't need another receiver, they need offensive line or some defense.
The Bears certainly don't need to use their first round pick on a defensive tackle. They already have Tommie Harris, Tank Johnson, Ian Scott, and a couple other solid guys in the middle of the line.
The Colts need some defensive line, not a linebacker. You see what is happening to them, they need a defensive tackle or end.

The Eagles taking a safety in the first round would be crazy. They have Sean Considine and are very confident in him.

I think that was an awful Mock Draft. NFL Draft Countdown's is better and its about three weeks old. Expect Ted Ginn to go lsat first early second at best (remember where Hester went, now think about a round higher). Posluszny isn't a Top 10 talent, but is a 1st round talent. Swayne Bowe??? Really?

I prefer to keep Gaithier there and try and find someoen for Dhani Jones. Although, I wonder how the team will go because of Gocong. I know this team won't give up on him after one year. Although, I hope they realized that Gocong will only be a good linebacker in a blitzing 3-4 defense. I can actually see this team going for a defensive tackle or end because of the injury to Kearse and Brodrick Bunkley just sucking it up terribly.

Samardzija probably won't even go in the first round.....
You picked a God-awful mock draft to post.

Is Sammy even going in the NFL right away? Or is he going to test his luck in the minors some more?

He has plans to play both sports professionally.
It's killing his draft stock.

we would atl take a d-end, we got abraham and kerney already. Plus Chauncy Daivs and Paul Carrington have become proven starters this year from injuries.

If Carolina takes Jamarcus Russell they should lose their drafting privileges for five years, and I would personally set all my Panthers apparel on fire outside the stadium.

I think this guy is spot-on with the Chiefs. People talk about how we need more on defense, but we've got two solid DE's and good LB's, and two young safeties that are itching to play. WR is a huge need, and while it may not be Bowe, I've heard good things about the guy. Although others in this thread are right, there are some questionable picks. Patrick Willis at 7 comes to mind. The positions of need for most of these teams are right, just not the right players.

One name I was glad to see in the top 10, even though this draft embodies the word pitiful, was Patrick Willis from Ole Miss. That kid is amazing, and any team who gets him is getting a top notch linebacker.
I personally think JaMarcus Russell is a project quarterback. Physcially speaking, probably one of the most gifted to ever put on cleats. Mentally however, he's not exactly going to wow you. Give him a few years to sit, a la Phillip Rivers (another boy born from the great state of Alabama) and he will be one of the best quarterbacks in the league. I don't think you waste a first round pick on the guy however, again he's a project.
Look at all that LSU guys in that mock draft too, did the guy who make it go to LSU? I mean, yes they are freaking amazing, but still.

Willis is a top-notch talent, but the Rams have more pressing needs up-front. Bulger has to be black and blue from this past season.
They should go for Joe Thomas of Wisconsin, Blalock of Texas or Levi Brown from PSU if they can get any of them.

It just wouldn't feel right if the Lions didn't take a WR. And why is Tedd Ginn so high, going to the Browns, who have Braylon Edwards?
And why would the Bills draft another WR? Willis wants a new contract, Lee Evans is becoming a great deep threat, and their line still is mediocre at best.

Um, why in God's name is Troy Smith going to the Dolphins? They have a pretty good stable of quarterbacks, and I see him going to Cleveland anyway. And what in the world is an offensive tackle projected to go to Jacksonville? I would think either Quinn Pitcock or Glen Dorsey would be going to the Jags.

Why do the Rams have the 7th pick? They aren't that bad. In fact they can make the playoffs!

This is why Scout should stick to Recruiting, and College Football, and stay away from anything that has the NFL's name on it.
