Nick Saban wants to make a decision on his future quick - like tomorrow.
Same with Cowher. He's leaning toward quitting.

Put John Fox on the hot seat list. Everyone is calling for his ass to be gone around here.

Didn't Adam Scheffter of NFL Network report Art Shell was going to be fired?

I think it was week 15 or 16 during the NFL Network game that he came on and reported it. Of course, Al Davis denied it like crazy.

I remember that too Freak. Raiders deny it, but Sheffter has been right in the past....

Yeah, maybe you should try getting some players who can win first....

the team we have in place can win, its just mora was so determined to try and make the west coast offense work, when it clearly wasnt. Vick needs to be able to play his own game and create something for himself. hopefully a new coach can make that happen, and also bring in a management which can take are defense to the nfls elite (after a big improvement this season)

If Romeo does leave to go coach the ATL, I would want their defensive coordinator (names escapes me) to coach them.

^Carthon?
Trust me, Art Shell is not leaving. You could take his name off the list. When a team losses, the coach is always on the hott seat. Shell disciplines his players and there is nobody out there better qualified. Also, Davis kicked himself for years after he fired Shell. I cant imagine giving him a year and dumping him again.
I would put my life on the fact that Shell is not going to get fired. Period. lol.

Maurice Carthon!? You gotta be kidding me. Not only was he an OC, but he was an awful one.
Mike Sherman is interviewing for the Arizona job today. Another interesting scheduled interview is Tennessee assistant Norm Chow, Matt Leinart's former OC at USC.
Also, the Lions fired their defensive coordinator, Donnie Henderson, even though this atrocious defense can't completely be blamed on him.
Also, the Cleveland DC is Todd Grantham, who was a candidate for the Michigan State job.

It's not like chow and Lienart know how to work together. One is a QB and the other is a coach. NFL is so much different.
DB... I was taking a guess on who the D-Cord in Cleveland was haha. Playing madden, I thought I saw his name in Cleveland once. I was just throwing one out there. haha.

Dolphins source tells Chris Mortensen that the Miami coaching staff is under the impression that Nick Saban will take the Alabama job. Dolhpisn have no news conference scheduled and know nothing of Saban's future plans.
Still nothing on Bill Cowher, the Rooney family wants a decision today.

Cowher wont retire... He'll let us know what year will be his last year. If it's next year, he'll inform us this off-season. He's not the "high and dry" type of coach. If Saban does take the Alabama job, that would upset me that he lied to everyone. I think if you coach at LSU, you cant go to Alabama. There's something about playing in the same conference that every team should have a bit of pride in.

I obviously won't care about him saying that he wouldn't take the Alabama job earlier if he actually does take the job. He's a good coach, therefore I'd love to have him at Alabama. Plus I'm living around 15 miles or so from Tiger Stadium, so that would make school on Monday very very fun. ;D

There were a few reports a few days ago that the Giants were interested in Marty Mornhinweg. I highly doubt that the Eagles would ever let their offensive coordinator/assistant head coach go to a division rival.
Also, I think the Falcons need to really consider dealing one of their two quarterbacks. It makes it a lot easier to choose a coach and better the team knowing what style of play they will have on offense.
