Bobby Petrino. WTF!!!!! I dont know too much about this guy, so im not gonna say stuff like hes crap and all, but i just got to say, it was a stupid move by the falcons. there should have been a more qualified person avaliable. the falcons need a coach who has expierence and can mold this already able team and take them to the next level, i find that hard to come by with a coach with no expierence. one plus side is that he is a college coach, so maybe he can bring some kind of college philosophy to the falcons offense, to give Vick more freedom, allowing him to play his best game. still petrino,

Petrino did amazing work while at Louisville. Took what John L. Smith did and took it to the next level. They always had a great offense while Petrino was there and really went from being an above average mid-major, to a top 15 program in just a few short years. He's a good coach. I'm not sure if he is going to make it in the NFL, but I don't think he'll be bad for the Falcons.

Norm Chow interviewed with Arizona today. Found that interesting. Probably their best bet for fielding a contender...he can tutor Leinart some more and hopefully fix that line. Going out there is pretty risky, though.

Who is the last coach that came from college that has had success in the NFL? I swear these guys just coach for two years, dont get into the playoffs, and then get fired and go back into college football.

I dont know.... Al Groh had one chance and he went 8-8. That's not that bad haha. I think the last college to pro coach was whoever is good now who coached in college. I dont think their are many. The majority of the head coaches come from being assistants.
I think Jim Tressel would be good at the NFL level and Carrol wasn't bad. Just unsuccesful for what he was given at the time(Bledsoe). I cant think of any other. Tedfords not bad, but I think he's a recruiter, not a stratagest.
We'll see... He could have done wonders in Louisville. You think we will see Michael Bush in Atlanta next year?

I think Bush might be back, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
He may apply for a medical red-shirt. Imagine the Cardinals next year with Brian Brohm and Michael Bush returning...

Imagine the Cardinals next year with Brian Brohm and Michael Bush returning... msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/6351970Bush is coming out early, after barely playing this year. The heisman candidate is expected to go between rounds 1 and 3, but my hunch tells me that petrino may just take Bush with the Falcons first pick midway through the first round of in the second.

Anybody who stands 6'3 250 pounds who can run a 4.4, catch the ball cleanly, block out of the backfield and is in no way cocky.... deserves to be a first rounder. You could play him at KR, PR, RB, FB and TE. I dont see why not. He's a beast. A rich mans version of a poor mans T.J. Ducket.
Invision Steven Jackson and Brandon Jacobs with Edgerin James speed and hands. That's pretty nice. I dont care who's at QB, youll get it done.

Scratch Coughlin off the list. He's staying.
I'm sure Giants fans are ecstatic.

I dont see him taking Bush first round. The Falcons already had one of the top rushing offenses with Vick, Dunn, and Norwood. Jerious Norwood is going to be a good runningback. Bush could fit in somewhere like Cleveland, Houston, Oakland, or Green Bay. My guess is he'll go in the second round probably to CLE, HOU, or OAK who all have early picks.

Bush said the reason he left early was becuase "he didn't want to play under anyone other than Petrino". So...

He might not go first round.... but second round if hes available, you pick him up. I've seen it done before, and he's twice the RB Norwood is so why pass that up? I beleive 100% that Bush lands in Atlanta next year and plays.... alot

We dont know that yet until Bush plays in the pros. Plus, add to the fact now he is just coming off of Knee? surgery. I forget the injury, but im pretty sure it was a knee injury. Not to mention, Norwood rushed for 633 yds and averaged 6.4 yards a carry. That was their third best runner! If I were the Falcons front office, no way would I go for Bush.
