I think Bill can do it. He tamed Corey Dillon down from his Cincinnati days. How'd that work out?

Super Bowl win. I know now it has failed but overall I don't think it was terrible.

That was the worst trade ever. He isn't old and he could continue to be a force but I mean we get a 2nd round pick. We could've easily gotten a first and retained him. Then were going to lose Briggs.

sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2789401Theres one dream that not going to happen, Porter goes to miami where they will have solid 3-4 defense with thomas, porter and crowder as the LB with taylor (DPOY) up front. lets hope briggs can land with the falcons now.

Briggs wont go anywhere, the only way the Bears will trade him is if another team apporaoches them about Birggs, even then the Bears are so high on Briggs they wouldn't do that, and I highly doubt Lance would be willing to forfeit 450,000 dollars a game if he chooses to hold out next year, Briggs is a Bear next season, no doubt in my mind.

I would hope Brigg's word is solid and in that case... I hope he does do what he says and refuses to play haha.

He would be a fool to not play and miss out on 450,000 dollars a game. Either way it's not liek the organization isn't trying to sign him long term, but this is the best they can offer right now.

I know he's not a free agent, but it's now quite certain that the Chiefs are going to move Trent Green.
I'm thinking at best we'll get a 3rd rounder, but that's wishful thinking. A fourth-rounder would be superb, given that a lot of sleepers are picked early on in the second day.

I don't think we'll do worse than the Raiders, but I don't see this team next year contending for the playoffs. 6-10 seems more likely. GM Carl Peterson will do enough to make this team respectable in free agency, but it won't be enough this time around. Don't be surprised if Croyle starts for KC this year under center. I don't think they re-signed Huard to sit the bench, but the future is now. If Brodie is really the way they want to go, they need to play him. I just hope he's put on some bulk.

You're assuming that athletes have common sense and decency. He's going to see holding out as a short-term sacrifice to produce long-term gains. I wouldn't be surprised if he holds out.

LJ will give the Chiefs at least six wins regardless of how bad they may be.

If he holds out it might as well be for the entire season, Jerry Angelo wont budge.

Big news out of New Awlins again. The Saints agreed to terms with TE Eric Johnson. He should be a great pickup for us.
Also, Joe Horn signs with Falcons...
EDIT: The Saints have both former Eagles DB's R.Hood, and W.James visiting.

I think Bill can do it. He tamed Corey Dillon down from his Cincinnati days. Corey was never bad there really. They flat out sucked and he wanted to win. It is different with Moss. I love the Wes Welker trade. A younger, better Troy Brown.

Thank you Jamal Lewis! Ill take McGahee over that slow piece of junk anyday, and especially only for a third, seventh, and future third. Only problem is his contract now.

The Eagles have added Bethel Johnson for the return game and are meeting with Kevin Curtis tommorow. Also, Donté Stallworth is suppose to announce where he intends to sign tommorow. His list is down to New England, Miami, Tennessee, or Philadelphia.
