Thank you Jamal Lewis! Ill take McGahee over that slow piece of junk anyday, and especially only for a third, seventh, and future third. Only problem is his contract now. I'm glad McGahee is gone, but I wish we had snagged something higher than a third from Baltimore.

I'd imagine that the Bills will attempt to package the picks they got in order to possibly receive an extra first or second round pick,.

Why do they say McGahee is washed up? Why have they said no team should offer anything more than a 3rd for him? How come more teams havnt shown intrest in him? I have seen him and he's as effective a runner as many of the starters in the league.... behind the right line, he could play extremely well. He's going to kill in Baltimore.
Honestly... name a 3rd rounder who will do anything as important as McGahee will do in Baltimore. If McGahee was a rookie joining the league, his skills would still be a first rounder so I dont get it.
Oh well... Owners and GM's forget about the game and they put what they think first. If they want to go in a different direction, they go in a different direction.

When did Matt Millen start running the Bills? We'll know when Jon Kitna shows up at Bills training camp.

Don't forget Angelo Crowell, Chris Kelsay, as well as Schobel and T. Henry if you want to go back to 2001.
The Bills, looking back, do make pretty good draft selections, (I'll exclude 2002). They don't always make the sexy pick, but they draft well.
Their signings...
Giving Dockery $49 million was ridiculous. I know he gets real good in Madden, but he's pretty average in real life i.e. no Steve Hutchinson.

He was a rookie. You can't make judgments on a player after 1 season. Perhaps he was a reach, but I don't see any better DTs after him. 3 68 Claude Wroten DT Louisiana State 3 73 Dusty Dvoracek DT Oklahoma 4 123 Domata Peko DT Michigan State 5 134 Kyle Williams DT Louisiana State 5 153 Anthony Montgomery DT Minnesota 5 169 Jesse Mahelona DT Tennessee 6 177 Jonathan Lewis DT Virginia Tech 6 181 Babatunde Oshinowo DT Stanford 6 182 Montavious Stanley DT Louisville 6 183 Johnny Jolly DT Texas A&M 6 196 Kedric Golston DT Georgia 6 204 LaJuan Ramsey DT Southern California 7 225 Chase Page DT North Carolina 7 226 Rodrique Wright DT Texas

Ha, Ravens fans and their false hopes... he'll give you glimmers, but he isn't all he's cracked up to be. Maybe he's an improvement over Jam, but he'll leave you asking yourself if he could have done more.
N2S, you can't get fair value for him. They did it because they know he's going to want too much money at the end of the season since it's his contract year (same situation as Travis Henry) and they know he won't come back, so they're dealing him for what they can get, and while what we got was pretty bad, it's still something.

www.nfl.com/teams/story/NYG/10050827Droughns traded to Giants for Tim Carter? What are the browns thinking Droughns is way better than Lewis any day. I guess they are position themselves to take AD maybe? also Rhodes signs with the Raiders. Another questionable move; by both Rhodes and Oakland.

why are you glad hes gone ? he was the Bills. Now you dont have nothing. nada. Willis was not the best player on the Bills, please. Running back is also one of the most replaceable positions in the NFL. I'm not saying the Bills are the Broncos and can just plug in any scrub and have him eclipse 1000, but losing McGahee doesn't make or break the team. And Bills not drafting well? Heh. They did take OT Mike Williams 4th overall, and picked DE Erik Flowers in the first round a while back, but recently they've been solid. Losman showed some ability last year, Lee Evans is a great deep threat, etc. etc. I'm just hoping Dockery solidifies that damn line along with Walker for the combined 74 million total.

Well, the Lions signed T.J. Duckett. Interesting move on our part. Always liked him as a Spartan, but he's done nothing as a pro. I dunno....I like it, but don't like it.
