It would be boring if it was just talk, but his locker is cleared up. You better bet the sixers want to trade him soon. Who wants to play Allen Iverson to hang out with his friends at home? I dont want him to go to Indianapolis, cause I like O'Neal. I dont think he would be able to play in Boston with Paul. However, the Timberwolves would be a good fit with Garnett. He always said to get talent to help him, theres the chance of a lifetime. I know it'll happen, I just thought it would've already gone done. Sep brings up a good point about December 15th (forgot about that). I don't even really want him in Boston, but it is exciting when my favorite team is talked about getting one of the best players of this era regardless.

Well it's the 15th now. Apparently, 4:00 or 4:35ish is when the deal will technically be able to occur with the stipulations sep pointed out...
Minnesota looks like the only team that can pull off a 2 team deal, everyone else would have to have 3 teams or more. Denver appears to be the team that's going to land him however...

Source on the Sixers' RealGM board is saying there's a multi-team blockbuster with Denver that will go down within an hour or two at the earliest. Everything's been worked out, Iverson's been told to report to Denver...

I really think Denver was the worst thing that could happen. I would hate to see him in Denver. Also, Iverson isn't going to have the media coverage he had in Philladelphia, so you can bet that he's going to make more of a priority to make his pressance felt.
I like A.I., I have no problem with him, but Denver isn't the best place to go. I know he doesn';t have a choice, but he sort of does. Let's see if Carmello and A.I. can play together. I think Carmelo is humble enough to let A.I. take over.

Allen Iverson will get extensivemedia coverage wherever he goes. He's Allen Iverson, and I'm sure playing with Carmelo won't hurt the whole publicity deal..

For the first season, everyone is going to want to get in on the A.I. status in Denver. Once the season is over, everything dies down a little, and Denver shows it's no New york or Philladelphia, A.I. will do something.
I'm not saying he'll complain like T.O., but without questions to answer every game, the answer will make questions.
I would have liked to see what he could do in L.A. with the Clippers or with Garnett in Minnesota

I still disagree. Almost everyone who knows a lick about basketball knows who Allen Iverson is, and the media will continue to spotlight him.
Look at Carmelo, supposedly second fiddle to Lebron, but he still gets big billing on Sportscenter and basketball fans know him when they hear the word "Carmelo." AI will still be a big time figure.

I still wished he'd go to Sota, but it will be interesting to see how the NBA's 2 leading scorers (by a large margin, for that matter) do on the same team...

AI's being a jackass about where he's being traded, apparently, and the Denver deal fell through for reasons unknown.
I'm getting tired of hearing about this, trade him already...

I say to just release him and let him sign as a free agent wherever. The Sixers are already in a rut with money I believe, and they knwo they won't get anyone NEAR his talent level. They need to rebuild anyway, and if Oden, Daequan Cook, or David Lighty come out this year, grab them.

Are you stupid? Obviously they won't get equal value, but they can get a first round pick or two and a capable player for him.
Wouldn't they still have his contract on the books if they release him too?

He still has a lot to learn, and if he tries to go pro, he will be a bust as a pro.

the problem is is that the front office is letting someone without a "no trade clause" dictate to them where he will go

Well, if you've got a trade lined up to land Iverson and he says he won't report if the trade goes, would you still make the trade? Of course not.
The 76ers don't WANT Iverson dictating anything here, but he shot down a Charlotte deal and obviously Charlotte's not gonna trade for a guy who refuses to play for them.

Allright. So get him to the Hawks. They wont be setting the world on fire much longer ,and with AI they'll be better in the next few years, so the 76ers would get a nice pick.

If AI won't go to Charlotte, no WAY he accepts a trade to the Hawks.

I understand that... an easy solution is just ask Iverson for a list of teams he would consider then see what you can do from there, cause it seems Billy King knows all the teams that Iverson doesn't want to go to

He just won't admit it yet.
