It's just funny, like we were supposed to sit there and let it happen two nights in a row without one of their players getting dinged? I understand the rules of the game and what not, but when there hasn't been a warning after it happening two nights in a row, Clemens shouldn't be getting suspended. Well, boo-hoo, he did.

The source is far from credible but hey, like the author says, anything you could get from Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, and Jessica Biel, I'm all for.

Yeah, this topic blew after the Yanks turned it around. No one comes until the Yanks lose, but they could win 6 or 7 games in the span.

I'm actually pretty surprised at your responses. I was expecting much more stuff like about who we've played and stuff but sweet.
I've actually pretty happy with the Yanks, ok very happy. Cano and Melky have been beasts and have really helped turn this team around. Phillips has done great at first and finally decided to show the skill he's had all along and even Abreu has turned it around. Pitching hasn't been great as well and we've beaten up on some good teams.

I'm not about to start giving reasons why you've been winning when my team has been doing the exact opposite against downright awful teams...
The next two weeks will tell a lot.

Gotta agree.
I would just like to chime in that Toronto was over .500 before we played them and Cleveland leads the Central so it's not like we beat nobodies.

Steve Phillips is an idiot...says the Yanks and the Mets won't make the playoffs...I hope he gets docked pay or something when he's wrong

I think it's more because he's a complete jackass, Steve Phillips, a terrible GM might I add, says the dumbest things all the time so it doesn't surprise me and considering he's an ex-Met GM, I wouldn't doubt he dislikes New York quite a bit because he's been denying the Yanks all year and now he gets to shit on both because the Mets are looking shaky. I think Seattle's gonna fold because they just don't have enough to hold them through the rest of the season and Detroit has looked terrible since the break and don't seem to make a charge anytime soon so who's going to take the Wild Card? Either the Sox or Yanks and that's that. As for the Mets, the Phillies and Braves aren't playing any better ball than they are right now and they've still have a 3-game lead. If worse comes to worse for the Mets, they'll take the Wild Card also while the Braves run off with another division title.

You guys picked a bad time to bring this thread back into the forefront...just in time for the Yanks to get blown out. Nice timing!

I had a feeling it was gonna happen soon to be honest. They've done it almost once a week. I don't think Karstens will be starting again anytime soon.
