I think it's more because of Bostonians moving to Florida and Baltimore and still watching the Sawcks religiously.
And I think we all hate bandwagoners, except the bandwagoners themselves.

Nah, it's not. I know what he is talking about. There's Red Sox fans everywhere all of a sudden, ex-Mets and ex-Phillies fans here. Bandwagoners. I hate them, can't stay them and think it's funny. 99% of them don't really watch baseball though, they just like to hate the Yankees and talk like they are fans of "the best" team in the league.

Well, I know at least one family member from Boston in both Tampa and the DC area, who almost always go to Sawcks games when they play. That's what I was basing it on.
But yes, the Sawcks DO have a lot of bandwagoners. (edit) But they're not the ones chanting "Let's go, Red Sox!" at O's games.
