I hate the Yankees as much as anyone. But anyone here who says they wouldn't want Mo Rivera on their team is crazy.

I originally was going to respond defending A-Rod, but screw that. He's A-Rod.

So when did Mariano Rivera suddenly become Brad Lidge?

Can we test A-Rod please? 12 homers in 15 games? That doesn't warrant a witch hunt?

Seems 2007 Cy Young Winner Josh Beckett (hey, ask TJFOR3) is getting knocked around out there....

Yeah, my pick is looking pretty damn good right now. I know he prolly won't keep it up, but it would be nice to see him own and win the Cy Young so I could stick it in ur guys faces...

I think he will be much be much better this year. He is using his breaking stuff much more. Cy Young worthy? There is a long way to go.
My pick of Hernandez was looking good.

Yeah. The way the Sox bottom of the order is coming around is very good.
O yeah, and my favorite player Alex Cora should start full time for the Sox. He plays the game the way it is supposed to be played.

Our pitching sucks.
Anyone surprised? Because I'm not. Fire Cashman because he still doesn't get how bad we need some starting pitching.

Spartan would be, unless he's still in denial about the problems in the first place... I know Daisuke isn't a proven pitcher yet, but he's facing freaking Chase Wright tomorrow...

I haven't defended our pitching at all.I know it sucks plain and simple. If we don't make the playoffs, that will be the reason why.
Shit, half our pitching staff is on the DL. Andy Pettite picked up the slack that he needed to last night and the bullpen couldn't come through. Plain and simple.
Jeff Karstens, what is good about him? Definitely not the most attractive human in the world, and he doesn't pitch much better either.
Our lineup is fine, but we need pitching all around. Rivera, I don't even know why we tried to get him back. He's aging and that's about it. Mussina as well.
Pavano, well I had some hope after the Twins game, but I have come to the conclusion that he is the biggest pansy on the face of this Earth.
Igawa, is a huge question mark. He has the ability to be good, but it's going to be a long road for him.
I am not mad about this team really, because I still think they will hit their groove eventually, but I am going to relax this year. We aren't going to be WS champs and I think Mr. Torre will be gone after this year. Cashman will stay, because look at everything that he has brought in.
I am disgusted in the pitching, but I'm not worried about anything else.
