I think its the 3.44 ERA, the average of 6 1/3 innings per start (with our main 5), the .241 BAA, the 303/125 K/BB ratio, 25 quality starts. Things like that are usually pretty good indicators of good pitching. As well as a man named Papelbon which means games are 8 innings long.
Also, you have hit us hard, but only gotten 34 runs in 7 games. That is 4.8 a game. I know you guys have been slumping at the plate, but you do have a great lineup.

Kansas City, Texas, Seattle, Baltimore, Minnesota, and Toronto have done a good job making most team's pitching staffs look pretty good.
That's 6 of the 11 teams they've played and 23 of 44 games this season.

You can only play who is scheduled.

You can only play who is scheduled. Oh no doubt, I wasn't arguing that. Just stating how the Sox staff is a little overrated is all.

I think the reason they have been getting so much attention is the completeness of the staff. With the exception of Saturday night's game, the bullpen has been nearly untouchable. That combined with solid starting pitching makes the overall Sox staff one of the best in baseball.

Well, when the knuckleball knuckles, he's nearly un-hittable, when it doesn't, it is soft-pitch softball, like last night.

I just can't wait until the off-season when he bolts and the Yankees fans ponder why he left..

He'll come to the Marlins and we'll be insane. I love A-Rod's game, but he's just a bitch.

Rofl. Marlins? No, they have never had any money. Hints why they always have fire-sales.

Yanks have now lost 3 of 4 and will probably get swept by John Lackey, who's probably a top five pitcher in the AL right now...

Well, at least you don't have the worst record in baseball, like my team does.
But the Yankees still suck.
