Yeah, it comes on the heels of Ohlund's slash on Koivu. Which, honestly, not that I'm advocating the slash, but Koivu is stupid for not expecting retaliation for that elbow. I just wish guys would use their heads. |

No offense Freak, but a Flyers fan has absolutely no room to talk about suspensions. Philadelphia must have more thugs on their team than the league combined. It's time to start fining teams/coaches/whoever for consistently having players deliver cheap shots.

The Flyers are fucking the Bruins with cheap shots this season. Bullshit suspensions too. Jones only gets 2 games while Bergeron has two sit out months.

That last one against the Bruins was way worse than Jones's. Seriously the guys skated like 10 feet hit the guy from behind while the guy was kneeling. Wow. Jones's I dont find that bad to be honest, ya sure it sucks Bergeron is out and I am not condoning hurting other players, but I hate it when players think their invincible when they turn their back and bury their head in the boards right before a 220 pound man hits them. It's outrageous.

the reason for doing this was so that they could play Neidermeyer after he decided to come back. If they didn't do this they would be over the salary cap. So really it was Neidermeyer and Weight for McDonald |

McDonald is on the decline at 30 (as shown by all 4 of the goals he scored this season), so if you want an old guy who isn't going to produce a whole lot, might as well take one with tons of experience and can win face-offs for a cheaper price than a sniper who can't score for his life this season...
