I have a feeling its going to be an young up-and-coming coach, Kragthore out of Tulsa wouldn't be a bad choice at this point. Well I just caught my typo, it's Kragthorpe out of Tusla and I think he'd be a fantastic hire. He's an uber-christian, and Alabama is uber-christian, so his vaules would fit right in. He's taken the smallest Div-1A school to three bowls in the last four years. Runs an agressive offense (something Bama fans want), and simply put knows how to win. If Bama can land Saban, he should be the first choice. If not, a guy like Kragthorpe would be a great hire. We just have to remember we don't want the big name, we want the guy who will be a big name in five years. I think Kragthorpe would be our man.

No way in hell is he worth that much money.
I can name five coaches off the top of my head that are worth more than Saban.

Do that, but I want you to name those five coaches that would be interested in actually taking the Alabama job. I'm not sure he's worth that much either to be honest, but Saban to Bama would make me smile.

Yippie, some more Tubberville vs Saban action. I always liked that coaching matchup

We all know this now Well, money changes people I guess.... It felt good to type it out. Right now I'm trying to write a song to sing to my English class first thing Monday morning. something about "we stole your coach." I think Nick Saban really wishes he stayed at LSU, and that is what kind of pushed this decision. Not that I'm complaining. It's been a goooood day here in Tiger Land. ;D

I was hoping Saban wouldn't end up at Alabama seeing that he had already proven himself in the college game. I even saw on TV where a sports analyst predicted Alabama in the National Championship in the next 5 years. Maybe a little extreme but I hope he is way off. I kinda liked Saban but as long as he is in crimson, I have no choice but to want him to fail miserably. especially since my neighbor is a Bama fan.

I know exactly how you feel man, but I've watched Tubby beat our tail's for the last five years and feel he's not going to fail. Ought to make the LSU/Bama game and the Iron Bowl a little bit more interesting. I'm loving this whole thing though, mainly because I'm smack in the middle of LSU country. ;D

yea I'm pretty much smack in the middle of Georgia country so in a way I get more crap from people when Georgia beats Auburn rather than when Alabama does. Especially this year with the way Georgia was playing and the way they beat Auburn... It was a tough few weeks. But that LSU/Bama series should be a whole lot more interesting.
