I just want to drop in and say wearing one of my Bama shirts today wasn't exactly the best call today. The Bayou Bengals are pissed off man, on a level I have not seen from any fan base in a very long time. They just won the Sugar Bowl, and their main concern is Alabama. Feels kind of good.
At this point, the LSU/Bama game is going to bring the same intensity as the Iron Bowl. I can't wait for next November in T-Town, because no matter where I end up going to school, I'll be there for that game.
*Edit: The most amazing thing about this situation is that Paul Finebaum ended up helping Bama out. He's the one that pushed for the coaching change, and being the biggest show in Bama for Sports Radio (I mean, freaking huge listening base around the state) it ended up getting enough pressure on the BOT to fire Shula, though I think they were almost there as is. For the first time in a while, that cancer didn't kill us but hopefully made us better. Paul Finebaum = Off my "On Notice" list.

I thought it was funny that in your first post, next to the possibility of Saban becoming head coach, you put, "laughable that anyone thinks that".

Pretty dirty by Saban, just answer the media by saying "I would LIKE to return to the Dolphins," as opposed to lying straight up by saying you won't be the Alabama coach.
I can't blame him much, though, with Miami not exactly looking too dominant and Alabama offering some pretty nice job security.

Since this is pretty much the un-declared coaching thread for the NCAA, I just wanted to note that Florida $tate hired Jimbo Fisher as their offensive coordinator.
