Well, we've been doing a good job of shutting them down in the second half.
But Bama, I'd rather go winless than lose the national championship game.
This one is over regardless. Congrats Leak, Statboy, and any other Gator fan on a great season, and a national championship. You guys deserved this, your team played with more heart and intensity than us. We were out-played, and out-coached.

Florida is proving the SEC to be the best conference in football.

Usually, I'd have a sarcastic remark to combat a post like the one above.
But watching my idol self-destruct before my eyes has wiped me of all emotion.

I don't think the coaching was that bad to be honest. Florida got great field position and that set up three touchdowns. It's hard to give a good team like UF that many shots so close to the end zone. Then of course Florida's defense has been scary good so far, which doesn't help when you get down by 20 in the first half. The OSU defense is afraid to come up and play man or blitz, which is giving a senior quarterback (4 year starter btw) have a ton of time to find the holes in the defense. Tonight was Florida's night, and for some reason the underdog always seems to bring it hard in these games. Don't know why.
Oh and I agree about the SEC being the best conference this year.
Florida (most likely) > Ohio State LSU > Michigan Arkansas < Wisconsin Auburn > Penn State Georgia > Minnesota Tennessee > Purdue South Carolina > Iowa
C'mon, it was just a great year for the SEC with many conferences having down years this year. Come next year, it won't be nearly this clear cut.

There is no motivation left in this team. They've packed it in already.
Good god, where's Rudy when you need him!

Nat' Champs!! I expected a much better game, but we came out with heart, emotion, and pure energy tonight and took it to the Buckeyes. Sportsbuck, you guys still put together one hell of a season and had a much better team than they showed tonight.
I just cant believe four years ago me and my cousin (UCrossed23) were saying we would win it all when Chris Leak was a Senior. Somehow, we ended up being right through one hell of a road.

I believe that a Mr. NoT25hAbY was gonna remember how I told him that Florida was gonna kick Ohio State's ass and hand me a new one after Ohio State beat down the Gators in the Championship game. Well..... I'm waiting?

I feel like a genius. I said right before kickoff, as the only one wearing a gators shirt in a room full of OSU fans, that this would be Chris Leak's coming out party. And as the room was cut in half by half time, I sat there and grinned.
Let me just say that, coming into this I didn't really have high hopes for UF and was simply supporting them to piss off OSU fans. But they have gained a fan for life because of this. They played their brains out and simply wanted it more than OSU. I won't back them hard, but i'll never root against them ever unless it involves Michigan (to shut all you "band-wagon" sayers before it starts, I'm not gonna declare to be a real fan of Florida, but will still like them soley based on their dismantling of OSU).
By the way, is it bad that this prison-style raping of OSU made me giddy? Like downright horny? Anyone?

Wow...... 41-14. OSU... 82 yards of total offense... Troy Smith 4-14, 35 yards, INT, sacked 5 times. I don't care how many days you had off. If you supposed to be the #1 team in the nation, you don't get embarrased like that. This shows that Ohio State's schedule was very overrated...

Bama, we played Tennessee in our beat and beat them. However I do believe if we did play the Tigers in a bowl we wouldn't have won as easily as we did.
Who the hell takes the third game of the preseason like it bull, it's bull! We let them off the hook.

Ohio State just didn't show up. They looked out of breath, outmatched and confused at everything that was going on. I'm kind of happy it was 41-14, because now nobody can say Notre Dame is "Horrible" and deserved a bowl game haha.
I give it to Urban Meyer tonight. I dont think they were the best team in the nation. Not whatsoever, but in the NC game they showed up and one and that's all that counts. Just to think that if Urban Meyer didnt complain and/or USC lose to UCLA.... they wouldnt have even played.
Props to Florida.... Now I have to hear championship talk from all my friends all over again.

Did anyone see the time run down to .00 for like 5 seconds before Florida ran a play? I saw that and the refs didnt call it, the announcers didnt say anything. I'm going to go ahead and say it.... Florida got away with alot tonight. Granted, they still spanked them, the refs def. looked the other way on alot of calls(Time runs out, Harvin Touchdown, facemasks)

I saw one time it should have been a delay of game and UF got a first down. That's all that I really remember. Not like it mattered all that much, OSU got steamrolled.

Anyone else think that OSU had a bit too long of a layoff before last night's game?

Wow awesome game. I bet some guy that Florida would win and it payed off, nobody gave them a chance. Chris Leak was on and Troy Smith was way off, it would be interesting to see what would happen if they played again. The funny thing last night was just before the kickoff during the bands playing my friend says, "If they kick it to Ginn he'll score a touchdown on the kickoff", sumthin like that. He called it, and after the opening kickoff I though it was Ohio State all the way, but UF proved me wrong.
