The layoff hurt, but I don't think it made up for a 41-14 loss. Florida just was much better last night, and would have won if Ohio State had played last week. It's hard to get adjusted to game speed, but OSU's offense never actually adjusted.

Florida had more to prove. People already knew that Ohio State deserved to be there. But hardly anyone said Florida deserved the shot.
To me, this was like the Boise State game. No one gave them a shot and they had all the motivation.
I had a feeling all this time that Florida would win, and sure enough they did. Great win by the Gators, they are the true champions of the NCAA this year.
Not only did they win, they destroyed Ohio State.

If by "hardly anyone" you mean half the press I've read and the entire state of Florida as well as a good part of the nation (ESPN poll), yeah. Sure. Also, yay for Boise State getting a number one vote in the AP poll. |

Well I just ordered my championship shirt, a beanie, and a sticker for my car. Im going to go ahead and purchase the DVD next week and maybe another shirt. Ill take some pictures for you guys so you can check them out.
It still hasnt fully hit me that we're National Champions. Its all celebration for these next few weeks, but soon we find out how many of these talented juniors are going pro, especially on our defense.
Siler, Nelson, and Moss all could be leaving early. It would be great to see all three stay...

Looks like the BCS was right this year. Now I guess DB will say Boise should have been in the game over OSU.
I think Nelson is leaving. I have not been able to talk to him lately and with his mother just passing away 2 weeks ago, his grades are really low, I just don't see him staying. The last time I talked to him was when his mother passed away and I did not really want to ask him then. He did tell me that he was going to bring this one home for mom.
Being a trainer I have to be at work at 4:30 in the morning. I stayed up all the way through and just went to work. I'm glad I got home at 11:30 though.

I agreed with the fact of sending Florida to the Championship... but I still thought and was hoping Ohio State was going to win. This just got ugly lol. I like Troy Smith... I was rootin for him... but Florida messed him up. Mad props.

I was kinda disapointed watching that game. I actually watched the game to see a good game, not to root for anyone, and the first three minutes of the game or so, I thought I was gonna see something. Well, watching a team get their ass kicked is pretty funny every once in awhile...
Notre Dame isn't alone in their bowl rapage I guess...
