First round games start tomorrow for some conferences, most importantly the Big South since I'll be heading down to Winthrop for their game. If Winthrop wins convincingly they get seeded about 11 and have a great chance to make some noise in the tourney.

Winthrop sucks. RADFORD 4 LYF!
Also, Army is actually not the worst team in the Patriot League this year. And they might win a conference tourney game. But it'll surely come down to Holy Cross and Bucknell again.

UVM's conference tourney starts the 3rd of March I think. If Vermont takes care of business they'll get a 12-14 seed probably...

LSU has to win the tourny or they have no chance at getting in. Pretty sad.

LSU has to win the tourny or they have no chance at getting in. Pretty sad. Bama needs a similar run, or at least beat both MSU and Ole Miss this week. I think we could get away with winning two games in the SEC Tournament, but we are sitting right on that bubble right now.

A&M is basically in no matter what happens, but if we can win out against Mizzou and Texas and then have a strong showing in the Big XII tourney, we could very easily be a #1 seed. Especially if Texas knocks of Kansas later this week.
Key Games: Texas A&M @ Texas Missouri @ Texas A&M Texas @ Kansas

A&M would have to win the Big 12 tourney to get a 1 seed, and that might not even get it done. No offense to A&M, there are other teams more deserving of a 1 seed, but if they win the Big 12 tourney, and other teams fail, they very well could be. It's just going to take a lot.

Best case scenario for GT is to beat BC to finish 7-9 in conference, and then not draw UNC in the second round of the ACC tourney. They probably need two wins in Tampa if they can beat BC.

I don't care about seeding this year, just glad that we are in. If we win maybe 2 games in the tourney, it's a 6 at the highest but I'm guessing 7-9. After all, that's pretty damn good for a rebuilding year.
If Michigan State gets kicked out for a bunch of cupcake teams, I am going to go nuts, even though we are pretty much set.

Michigan just beat Michigan State and if we can trip up the Buckeyes and win two games in the tourney, I think we have a shot.
But until then, Go Oakland and go VMI!

South Alabama is going to win the Sun Belt. Just letting y'all know. Oh and Southern to win whatever conference they are in. Just because they're from Baton Rouge.

It doesn't help you that Neitzel and Morgan both had the flu, and it was at home. Even if Michigan beats OSU, they still have to make a whole lot of noise in the BTT. State has overachieved this year and it didn't hurt us at all last night. Two best players out, on the road. No problems. I didn't watch the game last night, Michigan is not a rival to me anymore in basketball. They stopped when they lost 114-63.

Oh please Sparty, don't even act like you believe that nonsense. Oh and I think everyone big for the Spartans played last night, just saw that Michigan played better. No big deal, MSU is in and UM is still fighting for their spot.
On that note, Bama's going to put away Ole Sis and hopefully slide us into the tourny. Oh and Go Jags in the Sun Belt!

Last second shot by Josh Miller gives Army a historic first round conference tournament victory, the first since 1996. Take that Lehigh!
And Sunday, we face the bandwagoners at Bucknell. A group of student fans just as bad as the Cameron "I like Michigan in football instead of my school" Crazies, and a bunch of Lewisburg townies that didn't even know Bucknell had a basketball team until March 2005.

So true about Bucknell fans. Too much of that in this half of Pennsylvania.

Oh the bandwagoner, always a fun group of people. I'll be rooting for the Black Knights to win the Patriot League, just for Usma.
Oh and if South Alabama can make the Sun Belt finals, I'm thinking of making the drive over to Lafayette to see them play. It's only like an hour away, at the Cajun Dome. Would be cool to see.
