Culpepper and Manning where the only guys better than McNabb this year. And both of them have been on games covers before. So McNabb seems the best pick when you add in the fact he is more popular than Trent Green ect. And they have to have had a quarterback since vision passing is it thing. Tom Brady is the only guy that could probally made a better cover guy, and imo McNabb is better than him.

He came out, played the game on the ankle. It was a career day. But I still remember the team getting to the NFC Championship game.

Not that this has anything to do with this topic, but reading Freaks post, it made me think of this. I remember when Bret Farve had a career day, on Monday Night Football, the day after his father died. That was great, even though I am a Bears fan.

Ok, I'm going to sound like a homer here, and I know he's not as good as the aforementioned QB's on this list (Brady, McNabb, Manning, Culpepper, Vick) but I think Kansas City's Trent Green should be, if not, he IS, one of the elite QB's in the league. Why? Look what he does without a great WR corps. Sure, he has Gonzalez and Priest, but Priest was out half the season. Kennison is great, but he's inconsistent, and Johnnie Morton was quite the flop in some respects. Green has been to two straight Pro Bowls (correct me if I'm wrong) and has thrown for 3,500+ yards and over 60% in the air the past two or three seasons. The only reason he doesn't get any pub is that KC has played like (expletive) the last few seasons...but that's about to change

Even if they do put Mike Vick on the cover I do not think they will win a Superbowl with him.

About Trent Green, he is one of the best, and one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the league. It’s just because he keeps himself quite low key compared to most players in the league you don’t here much about him.
Also KC is hardly the football capital of the world so he isn’t going to get much press anyway. (plus Denver own the AFC West) Like the only time I have seen Green and it's not in a game has been when he was interveiwed at the draft last year. That's it...
By the way it was the Ravens that injured Vick, sepsportsfanatic.

Adalius Thomas is cool. LOL. It is not cool to see someone get injured but it is nice to whip it back in Falcons fans faces to prove to them that they cannot win without Vick.

We already know we cant win with Vick we are a one man ship, thats why he needs to stay off any future madden cover.

Jim Mora has turn around the defense from the last time Vick went down, and they would do a lot better now without Vick than they did then. Also Matt Schaub is a much better back-up compaired to Ty Detmer.
They still are probally the most one man team in the league (maybe the Lions with Harrington j/k ;D) but it's not as bad is it used to be.

Yeah, I agree on both of those points...he's not the most outspoken guy in the league, and KC isn't a football mecca...but I think they can beat the Broncos this year...
