About Trent Green, he is one of the best, and one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the league. It’s just because he keeps himself quite low key compared to most players in the league you don’t here much about him. Also KC is hardly the football capital of the world so he isn’t going to get much press anyway. (plus Denver owns the AFC West) Like the only time I have seen Green and it's not in a game has been when he was interveiwed at the draft last year. That's it...
Yeah, I agree on both of those points...he's not the most outspoken guy in the league, and KC isn't a football mecca...but I think they can beat the Broncos this year...
Yeah they have a chance if that defense manages to click (with all the new faces and all). Anyway I would expect Denver to be a much more consistent team this year. It's not like they have made any huge moves but last season they main thing they lacked was consistency.
Everything from their running game to there defensive backs have poor times during they season but it looks like they have made the right moves and also have a lot more depth. Jake Plummer will be in his third year with the team and if he can just cut down on his interceptions then expect him to have a Pro Bowl year. (The interception thing is a big if though).
They done a reasonable job of filling in there wholes at cornerback considering they didn’t have a first round pick. And Maurice Clarett, for all the bad you can say about him, he is probably has enough talent to make a real impact for the Broncos. I could go on but I suppose everyone can say things about how teams will improve. But I do think this will be a vastly improved Broncos team.
