It took over half the season, but this team is playing close to its potential at last and have finally taken their seat on top of the division. The Saints had a cute run, but its time for the big boys to play football now. Second best team right now next to Chicago, and we'll see if the Bears improved their secondary come playoff time.

How did I know that David would start this thread?
But seriously folks, the man has a point. The Panthers are the best team in football when they play like it.

Same here.
And to think I had to miss the one game I had tickets to because of a soccer game today.

I wouldn't call the Saints run cute. We are not out of it. We have played some damn good teams and almost beat them all...

Not out of it and they still get Carolina at home, but it seems like New Orleans is hitting a slump right as the Panthers are playing their best football of the season. Then again, you never know what will happen week to week.

Well seeing that our defense is still horrible. Im surprised out of the play we got earlier this year. We lost our star rookie WR Colston for the whole game, and Bush's ankle was giving him problems again, oh and turnovers will always bite you in the ass. Two int in the redzone, not very great. One plus is that without Colston and Horn only had like one catch, Brees still threw for 500+ plus yards. So that means our backup WR can step up.

The Panthers should end the season strong, but the Saints will stay in it. I see the Falcons being the odd team out in that division.

The Saints will probably end up around 9-7. If they can get the win over Atlanta this weekend, I think they will have a shot at the NFC wildcard. Carolina will win the South though.
