Huge miscalculation on the Dan Henning factor. Thought he would stick with what worked, but I was wrong.
Oh yeah, Bears fans can't say anything until you win a playoff game.

You can say whatever you want, if you want to look like a complete fool. Don't you remember getting by the most one-dimensional playoff team in recent memory? Even after all the smack you talked before the game about that defense?

Never said anything about that, just said watch out for the Redskins, you're the one assuming everything.

If they draft a QB in the first round and replace Henning, then they'll be set next year. For this year, Carolina would be better off picking a fan at random before the game to act as offensive coordinator.

Huge comeback by the Titans.
I enjoyed the game, even though my Bears lost, it was what I expected, a defensive battle with plenty of turnovers, the Pats made the plays when they needed to, great [albeit an ugly one] game to watch.
Though I would have loved to see the Bears win, we're still in the drivers seat for the NFC, we just need to stop playing so sloppy, or we'll be one and done in the playoff's again.
Yeah the Bears lost and are now 9-2, what really sucks is that the next week will be nothing but the news, newspapers, and the internet saying the Bears have 90 problems, like we are 2-9.
We gained over 300 yards of offense, and forced 5 turnovers, but what it came down to was experience, Tom Brady is a proven winner, and Rex Grossman is still in what could be considere his rookie season.
Basically it was 2 smashmouth football teams beating the crap out of each other, and the Patriots were the better of the 2.

Huge comeback by the Titans. I'm beginning to hate Coughlin and Eli more and more. Horrible playcalling and pathetic arm strength...every game I begin to wonder why I was happy about getting this kid. He can't throw deep for anything and then we get the ball back with 40 seconds left after Tennessee tied it up and before they started I said just run the clock out and go to overtime because if they pass Eli will of course throw a pick and the Titans will win and what a surprise! That happened because Coughlin's an idiot. I'm losing faith quickly and want Coughlin gone no question. He's too conservative. As for the Bears/Pats game. Good defense by both teams but like I've been saying, their offense lacks. I'll give them credit they stood the challenge, New England was just a little bit better. And yea...Carolina's back alright. [/sarcasm]

Plax could use a little practice time on defense with all the tackling he's had to do on the intercepted passes.

Plax could use a little practice time on defense with all the tackling he's had to do on the intercepted passes. If he wouldn't have given up on the play he would have caught it; not have to tackle the defender who he pretty much handed the ball too. That was a good pass by Eli, usual play by Plax giving up.

Three minutes to go in the game. Down by four and in Washington territory. You have the best deep threat WR in the NFL today.
Pussy boy Dan Henning calls THREE STRAIGHT RUNS and then on fourth down a pass pattern SHORT OF THE FIRST DOWN MARKER.
This disaster was not a lack of talent, a lack of luck, or a lack of officiating. It was a lack of sheer common sense by the bozos up in the box.

Wow, and I thought you said Carolina was back. A game that was supposed to be a "sure" win. I don't care what you say about your QB and offensive coordinator. You still lost the game.
Last time I checked you had the same QB and same OC when yall were winning. So it's takes a team effort to win and lose.
P.S. The Saints creamed the Falcons and that was without our star WR. So I don't think you should be gloating about Carolina is going to win the NFC South just yet.
Oh yea, go Saints!

Carolina is now 0-2 since this thread was started with losses to a crummy Washington team and a McNabb-less Philadelphia team.
Hate to bump this, but ouch..

I have a dream. Reggie Ball and Jake Delhomme jump out a plane together, stab each other repeatedly, shoot each other in the head, and fall into the flaming hot magma where their bodies disintegrate.

I'd take Delhomme over Grossman. You are an idiot. Forget the names. Would you take 22/37 for 269 yards, 3 TDs and 2 INTs or would you take 6/19 for 34 yards, 0 TDs and 3 INTs. You'd be an idiot NOT to take the first one.

Grossman plays like crap and wins. Delhomme plays like crap and loses. Delhomme has better receivers to work with and still sucks. ?

Grossman plays like crap and wins. Delhomme plays like crap and loses. Delhomme has better receivers to work with and still sucks. ? After the defense got us the ball at the Minnesota 22, that's sure fire points for some team. Not for us because Grossman threw a pick at the 11. Later in the game he overthrew Bernard Berrian resulting in a pick at the Minnesota 7 yard line, another scoring chance. His first pass of the 2nd half was intercepted. Grossman wins in spite of his own play, the defense and special teams win it for him.
