but the NFL apparently doesn't pay attention to what the "gamers" were saying because they signed with EA.

The NFL cares about the money, plain and simple, and no matter what 2K did, Madden would always be the most wekk-known football gaming franchise. It was the logical choice, and from the NFL's standpoint, a good one.

Well, 2k has been light-years ahead of EA in football games. The graphics from 2k5 on last-gen were better than 07 on next-gen. They also had gang-tackling three years before the Madden team did. 2K surpassed Madden in many ways, but why would you possibly try and throw graphics in there? You'd have to be blind to take 2K graphics on your PS2 over 360 Madden graphics. There's no need to exagerate your point when you're already right in that 2k was beyond Madden. Just go for the things that they were actually beyond Madden in... |

Yankee has it right. 360, PS3, and Wii are current gen now.
PS2, Xbox, and anything else are last-gen.

PS3's been out for less than 5 months...
I'm sure all of you were calling normal mp3 players last-gen the second the iPod came out too...

It would make more sense just to boycott Madden (Like I have since 2003) instead of buying "The Same Madden As Last Year Except for a New Crappy Feature and Updated Rosters."
