The game looks great graphically, but how are the players rated? And what are the modes?

I think there's just single season. I know for a fact theres no dynasty or anything.

Yeah I don't know about that then. It looks like the players won;t have official ratings either. You gotta have some sort of franchise section - that's a shame.

A possible idea for future versions is to have a create-a-league option, in which you decide what to call it, where the teams are located, logos, etc. and whatnot.

I read some huge thing on this game awhile back. I knew they left out franchise, and you know what it doesn't bother me.
To start things off... I have always been a Madden fanboy, but I am actually going to check this out. Yes, I can't do a franchise. But I like some of the ideas behind that. The reason franchises were left out was because of the HUGE amounts of space needed for the actual gameplay. Everything that was done was built around gameplay. I don't know about you guys, but I find that to be the most important part of a football game. Even if it means only having exibition games. The player rating system is something I also think is better in this game. I'm sick of the 0-99 ratings that players receive saying how "good" they are. Football is a team game, not one of individuals. It's all about building a team that can win. Players have certain attributes to help there team succeed. Even the third string quarterback can have an impact without touching the field.
Personally, I will at least be renting it to try it out.

Thats good that they went into detail on gameplay, but I feel like whats the use if I play a season and then get bored with it? McGahee, I actually bought Blitz: The League as well and I dont know about everyone else, but I enjoyed the game until I finished the season and found out that was it, then there was nothing to do with it.
I feel like this is the same thing. Its a great idea and concept, yet there wont be much of a way/time to use it. I mean wouldnt it have been neat to have a dynasty mode and put something together on DC about it? Talking about legends on your team and against you?
Instead, the farthest your going to make it is a season.

Of course gameplay is great. But personally I wouldn't ever think of spending $60 on what's really an incomplete game. At least with BTL there was a storyline that somewhat spiced it up. Obviously the players can't be rated on a 0-99 scale in this game. But you're an idiot if you think that you could make a good football game where Todd Pinkston can be on the same level as Torry Holt. |

Ill rent this game cuz I used to be 2k fanboy, but no franchise is just stupid as hell. the main reason I play sports games is to carry on a dynasty of my team year to year.
