Looks like 2K is finally making it's return.

Although they lack the NFL license, maybe the competition will make EA get off their lazy asses.

With the liscence, how can 2k keep making games? Couldn't they just make 2k5 with a different name?

2k football sucked...the only thing I liked was some of its presentation but that was definitely thanks in part to the ESPN license. Without that, 2k games in general have sucked pretty bad besides NBA games.

I had 2k5 because it was like 15$ and i didn't want to buy Madden, but I didn't like it.

2K has only done anything for me with bball..

The only way they'll really compete with EA is if that game is the best football sim to ever be made. The lack of licensing will put it at a very strong disadvantage. The only people who will probably buy it at the start are the small 2k football fanboys and the really hardcore football gamers with extra money to blow.

Hence why I think this won't make a difference.

I don't see this going over much, but it might just scare EA enough to start and look into fine tuning Madden.

I loved the 2K series more than Madden. This game will only be worth it if "Dan Stevens" and "Peter O'Keefe" are the announcers, however.

I hate 2k, in everything, except bball.

I thought NFL 2k5 blew. If I played it without knowing the price, I would probably have guessed $20.

I still think 2k is far behind EA, in everything else. Especially baseball.

So true. The MLB games have sucked hard and just like all their other games besides the NBA games, they've stayed exactly the same. The only thing that was cool about NFL 2k5 was the post-game interview with the player of the game. Even College Hoops come off as garbage now and then and is lucky EA obviously doesn't give a damn about their NCAABB franchise.

I hated NFL 2k3, but fell in love with NFL 2k5.

As much as I hate to admit it, NFL 2k5 was light-years ahead of Madden NFL 07.

you know what they should instead of making a non-NFL football game they should make a CFL Game and market like EA did for Arena football you know release it in the offseason when people are starved for football and say hey heres a game that is offenseively oriented and will be exciting to play.

A CFL game would do even worse and have a worse market here than AFL did.

I bought Arena. Reminded me of NFL Blitz. Not a horrible game actually.

Also, if it did so bad, why are they making 07?
