The winner of the AL will win the World Series IMO, but it'll be cool if the NL could pull off an upset. I'm glad the Cubs made the playoffs but I'm kind of thinking they'll kill me again. Just got to say to Gary, you better not go to a single game. You said the Cubs were like 0-15 when you go to games or something.

The Cubs win the World Series this year, mark it down. So the entire AL playoff teams are better, but we've seen the Red Sox, White Sox do it. So why not the Cubs pull off the improbable.
Geaux Cubs. I admit though, I'd personally rather see the Red Sox win again or the Rockies pull some amazing shit out. Still, it'd be really cool to see the Cubs win.

Phillies over Yankees in 7 would be my dream outcome... and the Cubs are going to be out in the 1st round, and shouldn't be in the playoffs to start with...

I'm on the Cubs bandy this year.
Although, with what the Rockies did to finish the year, winning the WS would be all the more amazing.
I'll be happy with whomever takes it all as long as the Stanks don't win it.

I'm pulling for the Cubs/Rockies also. I would hate to see Boston or New York win it.

I called it earlier today, Yankees in 6 vs. the Sox in the ALCS. I'll make my World Series prediction when the time comes.

Rockies or Yankees would be great.
Angels, Indians, Diamondbacks, Phillies - meh, I could live with that.
But please god, no Cubs or Red Sox.

Yup 0-15 including game 6 of the 2003 NLCS, and don't worry Chisato, not going any where near Wrigley unless its to celebrate a World Series Title.
And why not McGahee? I think they deserve to be in the playoff's because they won the NL Central, what is your reasoning in them not deserving to be in playoffs?

I like the Rockies and Angels.
Impartial to the Indians and Diamondbacks.
Hate the Phillies and Yankees.
Really hate the Cubs.
Might kill someone if the Red Sox win.

Utley and Howard hitless with seven Ks. Rollins (who is not MVP at all) hitless.
Yay Rockies.

Having the 6th best record in the national league... their out-of-division record is a joke. They beat up weak teams in a weak division and were able to coast their way through Milwaukee, who were 10 games under .500 from July on. In the NL East or West they would have probably ended up as a 4th place team...

At least in the real world, in the National League they might've been kinda good I guess.

To be fair, the East and West are pretty terrible in their own right. How was the West terrible? They had 4 teams in the playoff hunt for most of the year, and sent two of them to the playoffs.

How was the West terrible? They had 4 teams in the playoff hunt for most of the year, and sent two of them to the playoffs. Because they're all pretty terrible teams. No NL playoff team has a better record than an AL team and the NL is the easier league. Both West playoff teams have losing records at home. And LA was out of the race a long time ago, so that makes 3 teams not 4.
