We have alot of digging to do, hopefully Lou will know how to handle the situation considering he made it out of the same situation again the Yankee's when he was with the Mariners..

Here's hoping that Fausto can bury the Yanks....and Kenny Lofton is making Mark Shapiro looking like the smartest GM in baseball.

Chill out Loki. It's game one. Just like the Yankees were done and not going to the playoffs in fricken April.

Yankees 1, Insects 1.
The plague of insects has descended upon Cleveland. If this doesn't prove that God hates the Yankees, nothing will.

Yes folks, $252M for one of the best regular-season players around.
And one of the worst postseason players around too. A-ROD BLOWS!

Ball game over, Season over, the YANKEES SUCK THEEEEEEEEE YANKEES SUCK!
Vizcaino, Posada, screw it everyone but Pettite, I hate you. If Posada knew how to block a ball, Sizemore would have only been at third on that second passed ball. Had he known how to throw or hit or...anything we might've been in better shape. Joba, the bugs couldn't have been that annoying kid, and Vizcaino...I pray we get rid of you because you have been nothing but crap for 2 years.
Not watching Game 3.

Ever been swarmed by mosquitoes? There is nothing more annyoing than the mild discomfort of the bites and the constant buzzing around your head. I was amazed those guys delt with the bugs so well, because I know from experience that shit isn't fun.
Oh and haha to the Yanks, though that was really a fun game to watch. Go Sox for Game 2 tonight!

Don Mattingly has cursed the Yankees. Don Mattingly's first season as a Yankee was 1982. The year before, the Yankees had won the AL pennant and lost in the World Series. Don Mattingly's last season in Pinstripes was 1995. The next season, the Yankees win it all in and go on to have similar successes through the 2000 campaign. Since Mattingly became hitting coach in 2004, the year of the "collapse," the Yankees have failed to make it to the World Series. In Mattingly's 8 year absence from the Yankees, they went to the World Series 6 times. In Mattingly's 17 years with the ballclub, they never reached the World Series and made the playoffs only once during his playing career. THE CURSE OF DON MATTINGLY OMG!!!!!!!!!!1111SHIFT The Mattingly Curse lives on.

The Mattingly Curse lives on. What's funny is, this may be his last season with the Yankees. Torre is pretty likely to get fired if the Yankees lose this series and thus I would assume his staff as well. Thus the Yankees will get a new manager and Mattingly will be gone = 1996. Ut oh! I can dream right? Someone teach A-Rod not to swing at every damn inside pitch!

Okay. I love how people get pissy before the series is over. Down 0-2, three straight against the Tribe, not an easy thing. But, that doesn't mean it won't happen.
Yes. Bullpen = lame. How many hit batters did we have? Wild pitches and all sorts of things. We deserve to lose the series, but we haven't lost yet.

How many hit batters did we have? Wild pitches and all sorts of things. We deserve to lose the series, but we haven't lost yet. This isn't the 2004 Red Sox Spartan. At least they had made it to the ALCS and even playing us they didn't look this pathetic. We have no OFFENSE. It's not even the pitching, it's the offense. Especially Matsui and Posada in game 1 who killed two rallies and then A-Rod did no better when we had somewhat of shot last night, swinging at and granted fighting off every single ball 4 that was thrown to him. Clemens will outpitch Westbrook but I don't think we'll get more than four runs off him and Vizcaino or Bruney or friggin' Ohlendorf are almost guaranteed to give up any lead we might have. Our bullpen is terrible with the exception of Joba, who was attacked by the flying ants from hell and pitched like crap, and Mo who is pretty damn erratic himself. Of course, it isn't Kevin Brown, Javier Vasquez, and Esteban Loaiza pitching in clearly important games but still.

Loki, you ever think that C.C. and Fausto just pitched well? C.C. got himself outta jams when he needed to and Fausto was flat out dominant last night. It doesn't help that A-Job can't hit in a meaningful game.
