Loki, you ever think that C.C. and Fausto just pitched well? C.C. got himself outta jams when he needed to and Fausto was flat out dominant last night. It doesn't help that A-Job can't hit in a meaningful game. No doubt they pitched well but if this line-up is as all-star caliber as everyone likes to bitch that they are, they should be able to do something right?

I guess, but great pitching wins over great hitting any day. Although several guys in that line-up are overrated (notably Posada and Matsui).

Okay. I love how people get pissy before the series is over. Down 0-2, three straight against the Tribe, not an easy thing. But, that doesn't mean it won't happen. Yes. Bullpen = lame. How many hit batters did we have? Wild pitches and all sorts of things. We deserve to lose the series, but we haven't lost yet. Your optimism is incredible. Meh give him a break. He's not being the idiot he was in April when he flipped out on everyone saying "YANKEES STILL PWN" and such. He's just like every other fan hoping his team can pull through... DB you've really been lettin me down lately... Give CC and Carmona credit, but that Yankees offense just tanked. They have to be able to show more than that for the 11 or however many innings that game went...

How so? Lack of Yankee-hate, or focusing on the wrong things to Yankee-hate? Or something completely different?
In addition....the Cubs are done. Again.

But the Rockies are America's Underdog now, that will get some viewers.
I agree though, but it's more because a lot of people have stopped watching baseball. Like me.

^^They're hardly America's Underdog. Most of America won't even know they're involved.

Nobody really cares about baseball anymore.
Just saying, but when it's October everyone is watching football when it's not Yankees-Red Sox.

WOO ROCKIES/DBACKS IN THE NLCS! Why are you so excited about one of the most boring-looking NLCS's in recent memory? I honestly hope Boston wins now...cause it would piss off the highest amount of people, and I like to see that, so long as it isn't pissing me off

Cause I'd like to see the Rockies win it all. That'd be an awesome story for a franchise that has been in the cellar for so long.
And any team that sweeps the Cubs is also good in my book.

Colorado has almost no chance....Boston or Cleveland would both eat them alive. Colorado just doesn't have quite enough talent to hang with them. The World Series winner will come out of the AL, I have no doubt about that.

I'm not saying talent and skill dont factor in, but when you are as hot as the Rockies are, anything can happen.

Indians FTW
I'd like to see them win it for the AL Central.
