I think its amazing what Colorado has done. But am I the only one here who feels that this nine day rest will hurt them more than it will help? Here's an example, say im playing basketball and I'm on fire and I feel like I'm hitting all my shots. If you put me on the bench, most likely when I come off I'm not going to be on that same type of momentum.
Not even pitchers want nine days off. I just think it's way too long of a rest for a team who is so hot right now. Also, whats up with the state of Ohio and championships? If history continues itself, I think the Indians aren't bound to win this thing considering what's happened already this year.

igers had, like, 10 days last year I remember.....maybe it was a little less, but they swept and St. Louis went the distance against the Mets.
That didn't work out too well. But anyway, go not Cleveland. Ohio can go f**k themselves.

they had two runners on to begin with and kevin was at-bat, and it was kevin's overrunning of first and the ball of the head that allowed the runner on first to score

JD Drew finally took his head out of his ass and did something. I hope they use Beckett tonight once DiceK sucks it up so he can add to his postseason resume, not that he needs to. Schilling did what he does, granted he had a huge lead, but he was able to get out of the early innings and give his team the chance to get that big lead.

Its so awesome that Boston came back. Hopefully they can win tonight.
That'd be an awesome story line, the Rockies vs the payroll and superstars of Boston.

All right, maybe not all the people in Detroit care because you guys sucked this year, but I know with the Red Sox in it there is the most people caring than if any other team was in it. The Red Sox have the biggest fan base, so obviously a lot of people care...

Sure Boston has a huge fanbase...but aside from that, it's not like Colorado has a huge fanbase, and I know very few people outside of that that'll care about this at all. Ratings'll be down again this year, especially if Boston rolls. Because for every Boston fan, there's a guy who can't stand watching them. |

This is a tricky situation. If Boston wins, it shows that you can pay outrageous amounts to get any player on the market and win, which hurts baseball overall. If Cleveland wins, it brings a World Series with two less popular teams, which hurts baseball overall.
