It seems inevitable... Edmonton is stealing the series for good tonight. They were dead. Competely dead. And they fought their way out of it. Touche to Edmonton. As much as I, actually more like my wallet, would like to see Carolina take it, there is no denying the momentum Edmonton has. I don't know what the odds are, but Carolina is probably the favorite and rightfully so because they are the better team. But there's something about Edmonton which you can't go against.
With that said, Edmonton 3-1... Peca, Pronger, and Samsonov score for Oilers, Brindamour gets one for the Canes...

It makes no sense at all for that to not be a penalty shot. The freakin defenseman covered it up inside the crease to save a goal. Bunch of crap to end an otherwise exciting period.

It was the right call.
Carolina's playing inspired hockey ahead 2-0. Edmonton's digging themselves a massive hole and unless something changes drastically, Carolina's gonna be celebrating a Stanley Cup championship in a couple hours.

Sure would be nice if the Canes had credit for all the goals theyve scored so far.

Well,. The Canes have wrapped it up. The one thing that kills me about Edmonton was how they would not do anything on the powerplay. That is what hurt them most. Well, here is to next season.

Didn't you forget... I think that's cheating if you pick both... I really wish Edmonton would have scored late in that game to send it into OT though. That was a great game either way. The fans got into it all game, and Edmonton did the worst thing you could do in a game 7 on the road, and that was give up the 1st goal... Cam Ward played phenomenal. Carolina has a chance to win multiple cups if he stays a Cane... |

I am on such an emotional downer right now. It feels like I just got a new puppy for X-Mas and then someone came along and ran it over repeatedly with their with tire spikes on. Seriously I feel so bad that they lossed I feel almost sick. Well, I guess I still have the Eskimos to cheer, oh wait their gonna suck too.
