Double or Triple Post, but this is important:

I live in DC and have a friend who works at ABC News, which is owned by the same parent company as ESPN. I called her and asked "WTF?" She works in the News division so she didn't know, but said she'd check around and get back to me.

She called at 3:30 to tell me that everyone at ESPN is going batshit. A screw up of this magnitude is indescribable. GameDay is one of their most highly rated shows and Herbstriet is one of their rising stars. This can be career ending for the people involved. They felt they had the story. They ran with it. Their source was on the Michigan side, not the LSU side. It came from "the highest levels of the football program."

Folks, Herbstriet is no fool. This is a big deal. We either screwed this up royally, or it was deliberately sabatgoged.

faggoty Kirk Ferentz is back in the Michigan hunt. I wish I wasn't so damn loyal to them because they piss me off and break my heart time and time again.

Also Pryor is all but a Ohio State lock but it's hella funny, he said he really wanted to come to Michigan but they didn't recruit him that much.. Stupid Michigan coaches and their need for 6'5 Statue QBs who get F'd up in bowl games and vs OSU.

But not because of coaching mistakes (wasting timeouts, going for it when you shouldnt, not going for it when you should, not kicking FGs at the right time, bad playcalling, no discipline, etc.)

Rumors are currently flying around that Rodriguez has agreed in principle to a contract with Michigan.

This doesn't cocnern me one bit, as RR's teams have consistently been 2 things at WVU: Physically soft and mentally weak (especially in big games). I'm fine with RR going to tsun and continuing those traditions.

If Rodriguez gets hired, it's going to a very tough first year. Michigan doesn't have anyone remotely close to Pat White or Steve Slaton.
